Hurd Windows & Doors Unveils Strategic Reorganization
New leadership in sales and marketing announced.
Medford, WI – – May 1, 2008 – Hurd Windows & Doors President Dominic Truniger announced a strategic reorganization to strengthen the company’s sales and marketing functions. Under the new structure, Joe Herman will concentrate on Hurd marketing and communications as the Vice President of Marketing, while David Roberts will lead the expansion of Hurd's distribution as Vice President of Sales.
“The Hurd brand has truly come to be recognized as a leading industry brand,” Truniger said. “We are committed to aggressively expand our marketing, customer service and sales initiatives even further. Each of the roles has grown significantly in their respective importance. Therefore we decided the best strategy was to divide and conquer. And with Joe and David leading those charges, we feel we have the best leadership team in the industry – bar none.”
Herman was an integral part of the team which led Hurd back to industry leadership after the ownership change to Monarch Holdings. Subsequent marketing programs earned Hurd considerable industry recognition for re-positioning and rebuilding the Hurd brand.
Roberts, who had been Hurd’s eastern region sales manager, has more than a decade of sales and marketing experience within the fenestration industry. In his new role, he will oversee all U.S. and international sales initiatives and be in charge of the national and international sales force.
In addition, two new regional sales managers, David Porter and Randy Loren have joined Hurd's sales organization in the key Central and Eastern US regions.
